Sister Spats
I was emailed by Fiona something that I thought was really funny. Here is an excerpt:
"I was interrupted with Natalie crying all of a sudden. It's unusal for her to cry like this.... I leave them on the bed unswaddled and with the mobile on. Well, Vanessa is such a squirmer that she moved from the spot I had placed her and she was kicking the top of Natalie's head. Natalie did not like that."
And so it begins.....

My kids somehow end up kicking my head in the middle of the night. I do not like that either.
What is UNSWADDLED? And you have a mobile bed?
Newborns usually liked to be wrapped up tight in a blanket (swaddled) because it mimics the warmth and tightness of their mama's belly. So in our case our kids were not wrapped up which makes them able to flap their arms and at times squirm around. We have a baby mobile attached to our bed so it can keep the babies entertained (you see them hanging above in cribs).
See, learned a new word... swaddled. Now, let me use it in a sentence...
"That player had our guy swaddled. He couldn't break free to accept the center ice pass."
And a mobile bed would be so cool.
GQ- You're hilarious! Can't wait until you get "human" kids!
I can picture GQ with "human" kids because I bet he'll treat them like his current "nonhuman" kids. He'll put them in a cage and lay down some newspapers and a bowl of water and some Kibble's & Bits.
Actually, none of my kids live in a cage. My youngest son stays on a leash though.
