Has it been that long since the original Karate Kid came out? Now Columbia Pictures is planning on a remake starring Jaden Smith (Will Smith's son).

Yeah, I saw that... it's a bad, bad, bad idea.
I love Will Smith, but putting his kid in movies thing is ridiculous. I hope they don't call it "The Karate Kid." Think about all the poor children who will be confused with the CLASSIC and this sham.
